Director April Wright screened her latest film “Going Attractions: The Definitive Story of the Movie Palace” during the 2019 festival.
Her latest work tells the story birth and evolution of the grand movie palaces of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
German conceptual artist Ulrike Arnold is the subject of the 2019 DOCUTAH selection, “Dialogue Earth.” During an interview in September, Arnold shared her artistic process using natural materials and her experiences working at Broken Arrow Cave in Canyon Point, Utah.

Opening the festival this year was a film with local ties. “A Town for All Seasons: The Story of Leeds,” is part of the ongoing High Desert Chronicles series.
Local author, inventor and Leeds native Mike Eagar was on hand for the opening of the film. He stopped by to share his memories of the tiny town and a way of life that is almost gone.
